CRAWFORD MERCHANTS INTERNET

Internet Service Terms & Conditions

The practical rules for registration, activation, recurring billing, Crawford Merchants equipment, support and cancellation.

Version CMI-INTERNET-TERMS-2026-08-01 · effective August 1, 2026

1. Service and coverage

Crawford Merchants Internet is a managed community Internet service. Registration is a request for review, not a promise of activation. Coverage, capacity, location access, a suitable HUB assignment and the final service arrangement must be confirmed before activation.

Crawford Merchants may request directions, a landmark, contact details or a site check to determine whether service can be installed and supported.

2. Installation and monthly fees

Installation: J$8,000 once. Monthly service: J$5,000 or more. These are separate charges.
  • The J$8,000 installation fee covers the initial installation arrangement confirmed by Crawford Merchants. It does not prepay the recurring monthly service.
  • The monthly service charge begins at J$5,000. If a higher amount applies, Crawford Merchants confirms it before activation or before an authorized plan change.
  • No unconfirmed fee, late charge or replacement cost is created merely by submitting the registration form.

3. Activation and first monthly period

Service becomes active only after Crawford Merchants confirms approval, the installation arrangement, the applicable monthly fee and the activation date. Unless an authorized adjustment is recorded, the first monthly service payment is due one month after activation on the matching calendar date.

If that calendar date does not exist in a shorter month, Crawford Merchants will use and communicate the applicable month-end date.

4. Recurring monthly billing

The recurring customer bill is due on the same calendar day each month. The confirmed activation date normally establishes that billing day. A different recurring day applies only when Crawford Merchants records an authorized billing-date change.

  • Installation payments, equipment payments, outstanding-balance payments and other one-off payments do not automatically move the recurring monthly billing day.
  • A monthly-service payment updates the customer payment record, service period, outstanding balance and next due date.
  • Customers should review their account or contact Crawford Merchants promptly if a payment, balance or due date appears incorrect.

5. Crawford Merchants equipment

All equipment supplied for the service remains the property of Crawford Merchants.
  • Equipment is provided for the active Internet service and is not sold or transferred to the customer unless Crawford Merchants gives written confirmation.
  • The customer must take reasonable care of the equipment and must not sell, relocate, open, alter or replace it without approval.
  • Crawford Merchants must be given reasonable access to approved service equipment for support, replacement or recovery.
  • All Crawford Merchants equipment must be returned after service cancellation, and also when Crawford Merchants requires return following replacement, suspension or another approved service change.
  • Loss, deliberate damage, misuse or an unauthorized modification may be reviewed separately from ordinary maintenance. Any amount claimed must be explained and recorded; normal approved maintenance is not converted into an unannounced fee.

6. Maintenance and support

Free ongoing maintenance applies to ordinary diagnosis and approved maintenance of the Crawford Merchants service and supplied equipment. Support requests may be submitted at any time through the available support route.

“24-hour support” means that support intake is available 24 hours a day. It does not guarantee that every request will receive an immediate on-site visit or instant resolution; response depends on safety, access, weather, power, network conditions, parts and technician availability. Crawford Merchants will keep the service record updated as work progresses.

7. Customer responsibilities and acceptable use

  • Provide accurate contact, address and service-location information and keep it reasonably current.
  • Use the service lawfully and do not use it to harm, interfere with or gain unauthorized access to another person, device or network.
  • Protect Wi-Fi and account credentials and report suspected unauthorized access.
  • Tell Crawford Merchants about service faults, unsafe equipment conditions or planned location changes before relocating any supplied equipment.

8. Cancellation, suspension and final review

A customer may request cancellation through Crawford Merchants. The account remains subject to its recorded service status until the cancellation is processed. Crawford Merchants will review the effective cancellation date, outstanding balance, open support matters and equipment assigned to the location.

Cancellation does not transfer ownership of equipment. Crawford Merchants equipment must be returned. The final account record should show the cancellation date, final balance and equipment-return status. Any disputed amount or missing record may be reviewed before the account is closed.

Crawford Merchants may suspend or end service when continued operation is unsafe, unlawful, technically impossible, materially unpaid or repeatedly contrary to these terms, subject to reasonable notice where practical.

9. Customer account, payments and records

The customer account and registration status tools may show service status, the recorded monthly amount, payment position, due date, support route and other approved customer-facing information. Administrative notes, security credentials, other customers’ information, private HUB details and internal business records are not customer-facing.

Payment claims submitted by a customer do not become confirmed payments until Crawford Merchants reviews and approves them. Corrections remain auditable so a mistaken payment or customer edit can be reviewed without silently deleting history.

10. Information and privacy

Crawford Merchants uses registration, contact, service-location, billing, payment, support and equipment information to assess coverage, provide the service, maintain records, communicate essential notices and protect the service. Access is limited to authorized operations. Optional marketing consent is separate from essential service messages.

Customers may request a correction to their information. Records may be retained where needed for account history, payment reconciliation, equipment recovery, security, dispute handling or legal obligations. The website privacy notice also applies to the online account and registration tools.

11. Changes to service or terms

Crawford Merchants may revise a service arrangement, monthly amount or these terms when reasonably required. A material customer-specific fee or billing change must be communicated before it becomes the customer’s new recorded arrangement. The version accepted during a registration is stored with that registration.

12. Contact and questions

Questions about coverage, payments, cancellation, equipment return or these terms may be sent through the Crawford Merchants customer-support route or WhatsApp at +1 876 834 7086.

These terms describe Crawford Merchants’ operational service rules. They do not remove rights that cannot legally be excluded.
